Earlier this month, the announcement has been made by France Government that by “2040”, they are going to ban sales of all new petroleum and diesel cars.
This Wednesday, the same announcement will commence from the British government. This initiative depicts as control measures against poor air in the country especially in London (Urban regions). A government spokesperson said in a statement that: “Poor air quality is the biggest environmental risk to public health in the UK and this government is determined to take strong action in the shortest time possible.(Also See:Top 10 Most Badass Machines Ever Made in the World 2017)
That is why we are providing councils with new funding to accelerate development of local plans, as part of an ambitious £3bn program to clean up the dirty air around our roads.” He added: “Our plan to deal with dirty diesel will help councils clean up emissions hotspots – often a single road – through common sense measures which do not unfairly penalize ordinary working people.
Further he said:
“Diesel drivers are not to blame and, to help them switch to cleaner vehicles, the Government will consult on a targeted scrappage scheme, one of a number of measures to support motorists affected by local plans.”
In past just thought about these provoked officials but now they are seriously taking actions for this ban of vehicles. Electric vehicles are going to replace petroleum and diesel vehicles in future.
Norway also showed his aim of banning of these vehicles by 2025, but it seems that these are only their goals. UK and France government are actually taking steps for enforced banning of these diesel and petroleum vehicles.(Also See:Top 15 best 9mm pistol in the world 2017)
UK is also working on deployment of electric vehicles, electric car chargers installed, making of gas stations. For buying of electric vehicles, offered “plug-in grant” of amount £4,500 is already in queue. Improvement in country’s EV fleet has increased to such extent which records for 4.2% share. Initiative for deployment of electric vehicles includes for banning EV’s preparation and plug-in grant funds. Full fledge plan is going to release this week. Hence, sales of new lorries and cars relying on fossil fuels bid in outlaw for reduction of pollution.
